nihilistic purity?
Or the cosmic wound

a darkness
that never lifts.

permeate the psyche

tightrope of sanity.
Bewilderment
takes
hold.
Fear
now
reigns.
The Cosmos
is awesome
in its splendor.

the meaning;
the sole purpose,
yet the dysphoria
of the self-aware
beast stalks him,
the prey of Knowledge!
Accursed Knowledge!
Now disease-stricken,
he meanders
the malign world,
floating on a
sphere of derangement
in the void of space;
consumed by
an inexplicable yearning
for a truth that never was.
The warmth of happiness
is absent in the one
who has introspectively
peered too deeply.
